New flintlock arrived today.

I received my handmade walnut stocked .54 cal. flintlock with Siler lock and swamped 42" barrel today.
It is engraved to give a mountain man look.
Now it is time to work up a solid accurate hunting load.

it's a home made my uncle made, i don't know all the details. i't s a cap n ball, has some one off parts, lyman trigger. 54.
also have a lyman 54, TC 50, and few others. to many to remember them all, without reading my list.

I enjoy shooting my traditional bow as well as my Hoyt or one of the Ravins R10s but blackpowder is still a great time to me.
No matter what I shoot it all equals more time in the woods.
