Need Help!

Removing plastic panels I stripped out two of the Allen bolts. We then used a drill bit and it ended up messing up the insert piece that the bolt goes into . The insert piece is inside the door.

can you buy a replacement piece or will I have to buy the whole door?

I have not seen them as being replaceable.
You can buy the panels for the base model but they don't use these. Instead they use well nuts.

Or just do this and like most of us did and have some storage and your panel will be back on as stealth

let me gather my thoughts…..🤔

Ive gathered my thoughts…. 😂

Id put some JB weld on that bolt then thread it in cuz he most likely wont be taking that off again.

Then he can do the rear door mod! 🤣🥳

Hey. That's is an idea.
Drill it out.
Stuff some JB weld in there.
Install the panel and bolt.
Find a way to hold pressure on the bolt overnight while it sets up.

We've successfully installed inserts in them before, the kind that requires the rivet style tool.
