P1000 is a plucky machine. It was flawless the whole trip and took some pretty nasty stuff without breathing hard. We were going to bring my P1000 for a friend to ride too but he had to back out of the trip.

I'm running a Rugged radios set up in the camera car, the P1000 pictured was using a handheld with headset adaptor. Similar to the set ups pictured below. The KRX IS IMPOSSIBLY LOUD compared to a Pioneer so headsets, helmet or hearing protection are really essential if you want to keep your hearing. We are very happy with the set up. It's a game changer to have a normal conversation and be able to interface seamlessly with other cars. All running GMRS or amateur legal radios. My Poineer is running a Rugged
GMR 25 WITH A SINGLE HEAD SET PTT adaptor I can take in and out as it doesn't need intercoms for most of what it does.
