just starting my vent lines and was wondering what vent line is the most important vent line that needs to be extended first if you are limited on time. going to do them all overtime. and where are do you run the extended vent lines.

When I installed my snorkel, the only vents they listed to extend were the fuel tank, and front and rear diff. The front diff was already ran way up into the dash so I left that one. The fuel tank and rear diff I ran up to the top of the front seat and attached the lines to the seat frame. No problems thus far but I don't sink my machine.

I extended them all — front and rear diffs, fuel tank, and vent line from radiator fan

Here’s the total list:

1. Front diff
2. Rear diff
3. Radiator fan motor
4. Sub transmission
5. Fuel tank
6. Cable adjustment box

If you can only do one, make it 2, 4, or 5. Run fuel separate from the other hoses. You can join others like the rear diff and cable box. I used chainsaw fuel filters on the hose ends to keep dust out.

fuel tank vent would be my first one. That particular line was the contributing factor to some of polaris's recalls. turns out those tanks dont vent too well when the hose is clogged with mud

I ran all my vents up behind the back of the seat just below the head rest. I did use some small fuel filters on the end of them as well.

The front two vent lines are up under the hood next to the batteries.

Radiator fan, sub trans, coolant overflow, and fuel tank I ran all the way up inside my roll cage. I drilled breather vents at the top. The front and rear diff I used bellows, don’t have to worry about running extra line with them. Her are a pic of my bellows. All vent lines and bellows only took 30-45 mins.

Consider replacing those bellows and adding lines.
Members have tried this in the past with negative results. Usually end up with a seal blowing out.

I installed bellows on my pioneer 1000 back in late 2015 when I got it. After it pushed out the pinion seals on the differentials I realized that was not a good thing to do at all. It happened running high speed on a hot July day and the Bellows had been installed for 700 miles until it happened. Just wanted to give you a heads up

Did mine Saturday, ran fuel vent separate and tied rear diff and sub-trans together and ran both up roll cage and terminated them where it bends at the top under the roof and put chainsaw gas filters on the ends. Ran the shifter box up the drivers side roll cage and did the same. As for the front, I left the diff alone, as it is vented in the frame behind dash and steering wheel and extended the radiator fan vent up to the same place and tied it to the frame, also put a filter on the end of that line. I bought all my stuff separate for a little less $$, but the kit is prolly the easiest way to go.

will adding chainsaw filters prevent this. I think its from where gas fumes attached to the dust making in look bad. it freaked me out at first. one hose is the gas vent the other is sub transmission vent. I purchased the kit. witch is very easy and highly recommended282d0807dd93ae477bffb895c9fe5a60

I’m not sure because I’ve not seen that residue yet. Do the filters anyway because it will prevent bugs and dust.

That’s real good question. I probably haven’t checked mine in a couple years almost!
