Recently traded my P700-4 in for the P1000eps. So far loving it, can't wait to take it out and drive it the way it was meant to be driven. Anyways, it came with these huge 30" tires on stock suspension right off the showroom floor. As long as you are going straight, there isn't any issues with tire rubbing...lol. I've recently installed a 2" lift but still rubs a little. I seen online there is a "forward a-arm kit" that can give it an inch and a half clearance but I went the cheap way out and started to cut out some of the tube areas that were in the way. So here are a few pics of what I've done, think it came out half way decent.

......I did painted it flat black afterwards.

That's brave to cut that much. I hope it works.

is your JK lowered?
No, it actually has a 2 1/2 inche lift but its the budget spacers and after adding bumpers and a winch it's back to almost stock height...lol. So the plan is to add a real suspension lift but thinking to go with a 3.5 in. this time. Here's a better view of it...

The dealer should of had a 3" lift on it before they could even sale it with 30" tires. They could of put 28" tires on it before you bought it. You must like the 30" tires to cut a hole in the floor. What did they do with the stock tires and rims?

Not sure what they did with the stocks but you're right, it was those big 30" that caught my eyes..lol. This new 1000 has everything I wanted to do to my 700 so I decided to pull the trigger.
