P1000m5 Mid soft panel questions

Can someone tell me if you can still dump the bed with the soft mid panel on the 1000-5 ? I went and got the rear panel and dang it blows a lot of cold air in the back!

Does it help keep the air from blowing in the back?

That I do not know, but it sure stops a lot of dust from blowing into the front seat area in conjunction with a windshield.

If you have a windshield and the soft mid panel closed, it’s very comfortable to about 40 degrees. Below that, and closing the side windows too and I’m good to the teens.
