Has anyone tried out the maxxis carnvore tires yet in the 28x10x14? I recently ruined a rear stock blackstone so need to get something different. Just looking for some opinions or info on these for the pioneer. Thanks.

@PioneerPete is running them. They look awesome. I am still trying to decide if I'm going to buy a set myself.

I'm running the 28x10s and I love them. they barely measure 27" when mounted and aired down to 12psi, but I have been very happy with them. no lift required.

the guys with the 28" roctanes rub on the rear of the fender... from what I understand, a lift isn't needed, but may want to get forward arched arms. depends on how much scrubbing/rubbing you're willing to put up with.

Drfubar has 28" Evos on his and I don't think he rubs (except for maybe people the wrong way lmao)

Thanks for the info. I was planning to go with the 28x10x14 with a 14x7 5+2 wheel.

How do they do in mud? If I remember you don't have you lift installed anymore?

I really havent had these tires anywhere other than gravel and paved roads. Not enough mud to really speak of. They were very smooth on the roads though.

No, took the lift back off.
These tires do ok in the mud.

I was going to take the back ROPS off of my 5, even bought the half roof, your 5 looks great with out. My have to rethink and get a bumper. Now I look like bus.

Thanks. I removed mine first thing when i got it home. Only have used the rear seats on a couple occasions and the rear rops would just get in the way to often for me.

looks great, what wheels did you go with, 5+2 spacing? I'm looking at the same setup. any rubbing? I see that PioneerPete went with a different spacing 3.5+3.5 and he said he didn't rub.

Here's my tire size. They only rub a little bit when you turn and compress the suspension just right. They are only about 8" wide on the tread so I'm sure that makes a difference.
