Installing light bar on top of roof. Going to drill hole through roof to run cable on inside.
Anyone else do this? If so, how did you seal, "watertight" the hole?

Thank you.

Not trying to dissuade you.. but are you going on the roof for a reason? Several other good mounting options I've seen on here. If you do go through the roof most have attached a bracket to the rops to that actually supports the light bar and not just the plastic roof. I would think that route with some washers and silicone would be all you needed to get a good seal.

I wanted the light to be mounted high. The roof hangs over the front bar by a fair amount. I could not find a mounting system that would work. I could use some black silicon.

I put mine on the roof. I drilled the hole so the cable barely fit through it. I haven't had any issues with water leaking through it.
