P1000 Looking Ahead

Certainly haven't needed a windshield this summer but with winter on the distant horizon and possibly more 3rd party options available I would like to know what windshield you think is the best bang for the buck for moderate winters like we have here in Arkansas. Glass is too expensive but scratch resistance is a must. Who makes the best hard coat split windshield available for the dollar?

Super ATV's looks nice. But for me I just use the half windhsield even in the winter here in AR. I don't do much recreational riding that time of year though, just for hunting purposes but those are still some really cold mornings.

We seem to get a lot of nice days here that sure lend themselves to riding more than these 95 degree days we have right now. I also will be using ours for deer hunting. My buddy who now has a P1k3 had a Terx before and had some cheap clear vinyl side windows to keep the rain off. I wonder if anyone will make those for the P1K's?
