Lighted whip springs

Has anyone found a spring to put on the base of the 4’ 5150 whips? I’m looking for a super stiff spring that will only flex when hitting trees, not when going fast. I‘ve seen guys with the spring that lets the whip fly all over. That’s not what I‘m looking for.

We've put a piece of heater hose or thick fuel line hose with hose clamps on springs to stiffen them up.

I have 4 foot Gorilla whips (similar to the 5150's) and had to use full size antenna springs before I was satisficed. Like these,,.

They can still get wild during radical riding but they calm right down quickly.
