I noticed that there is some light surface rust on the rear seatbelts, silver part. Any recommendations in addressing this before it gets any worse? Was thinking that some 000 steal wool too see if it will take off the surface rust then wax em' back up.

You're right on track with your thought of using 000 steel wool and some wax. That's the only thing you can really do on chrome.

Get liquid “rust out” and spray it on the buckle only.

You can get it at TSC or Home Depot.

Thanks.....

No problem discovered it when we found out we had iron in our well water. Had to get the stains off all the nice new fixtures.

Don’t leave it on for too long follow the suggestion of a few seconds.

Also works good for getting rust spots off of fancy kitchen knives.

All the new "environmentally friendly" chrome is junk, hardly takes anything for it to start rusting.
