What have you done to increase the power of your Pioneer?
Nothing, I don't need more HP in mine, I get into enough trouble as it is. A guy named Eddie was at the Mulberry ride with a Can Am, gave me a ride, drifting at 50 mph on pavement, great machine, do I want one, crap yes, do I need one, HELL NO, I would hurt myself.

Lol ....... is you craaaaaazy. Never even thought about more power when considering mods. Unless a fellow intends to race it, there is more than enough power, and if racing is the plan, then Pioneer is the wrong machine. But it is a GREAT UTV!

Engine management and exhaust feels pretty good low and mid range. We’ll be seeing more from someone shortly I’m positive:)

The engine performance is great. We need long travel and we will get it in the sport models. I expect the hp will be under 100 but it will be enough for a great fun factor. The racing and sand dune guys can use over 200 hp but the $30,000 price tag limits sales. Honda may have a over 200+ hp 1000cc flat 4 twin turbo in a few years but sales would be limited do to the cost. I drove the Can-Am Turbo and its amazing with the quick steering, suspension, and engine power. Drifting at 50 mph is very controllable due to the long wheelbase and quick steering.

Crawling requires more power.

Crawling requires lower gearing. 1000 has enough power, you will gain a lot more with gearing. I have a P500 and with 28hp I can go almost everywhere my friends Jeep and disco can go. I just need more ground clearance, front locker and long travel arms to make it more easier.

Can't get any lower than the IGR unless you add portals which will not last for my type of riding.

Actually no, I'm trying to get it from Jeremy now. I have drove one with it and it's nice. I have a large amount of weight to move, and at the end of the day more power will be better.
I think you’ll be happy with the IGR... but I haven’t seen anything done that adds significant power. Hence, if you want more power I think you’ll have to look at a different machine. BUT... the IGR should do it for you!

Eddie's Can Am is bad butt, he took me for a ride Sat. night around the park at least 50 mph drifting on pavement. Crap no ,would I get one, I wouldn't live through the first ride! It's crazy fast!
