Hey guys just picked up my 2018 1000-5 LE Friday . I'm sure there is already a thread about this somewhere but are any of you with led light bars and winches all running off the stock battery ? Ive heard multiple opinions from different mechanics and the dealership. they said I would be able to but thought I would ask yall. looking at getting a 30-50'' led light bar along with a winch, let me know if its to much and need to run a dual battery

Welcome!

I'm new here but everyone is going to tell you, if you run a winch, run it to a second battery. The winch draws a ton of power and the electronics on these machines don't like it when the voltage drops much below 12 volts which happens often when you are using a winch. There are plenty of write ups on different ways to set up a second battery if you choose to do so. That's what I did:

P1000 - OnTheJob's P1K-3 Build: "The Pie-O-Near"

Good luck and enjoy!

You've got the le so you have led headlights unless you're running the dunes at high speed the 8 18 watts i have would probably be good enough. Guess it just depends what you want to spend .I put two on each switch out of a new fuse didn't half to monkey with relays. But i am going to add second battery for stereo system bilge fans and I do have a winch I don't ever want to get left on the trail with a dead battery
