I just installed a 72" plow kit and 4500lbs winch from KFI on my P1K. I bought them through Open Trail, delivered in under a week!!

I read some great things about their products and was not disappointed. I would recommend to anyone.

Great quality, fit, finish and instructions, made in the USA. Went on smooth without any issues. Takes about 4 hours, but I have a hell of a cold, didn't drink any beers.

It included:
Push Tube Mount 105740
Push Tube 105635
Plow 105072 (straight blade)
Winch Mount 101285
Winch U4500
All hardware.

Delivered for under 1200!! It would be interesting to see a OEM kit to compare.

Anyone have any plowing tips?

I've got some concrete but mostly asphalt surface. I'm wondering about Blade-Pitch, Foot-Depth and Spring-Tension.

Can't wait to try it out!!

If you are using a steel cabled winch to plow I would Highly recommend KFI's Plow Roller Pulley. It will make your cable last allot longer.

I saw those, I "assumed" they where more for users with out a fairlead???

But several people recommend the pulley. I think my assumption is wrong,,,,

So how did it do?

Just got my plow, waiting on the push tube mount.

What was the deepest snow you plowed? How did it do?

Anything you learned on pitch, angle, and feet?

Thanks.

Also, I have the kfi winch mount/a winch installed, can't find any install instructions for the plow mount.

I won't have to take the winch mount off will I?

Does the plow mount come with longer bolts? Where else does it mount beside the two lower bumper bolts where the winch mount attaches?

What are you plowing on? Blacktop, Gravel, Cement?

You don't need feet with Blacktop or Cement.

If its a KFI plow system you will not have to do anything other than put plate on the bottom and go into 4 existing 10mm threaded holes. The cool part is you can easily take this one off during the summer.

Cool. It is a kfi system. So it does not attach where the kfi winch mount attached to the two lower number bolts? I don't need to remove any hardware to install?

Just use 4 bolts that come with the plow mount to open/existing holes?

Just wanted to post this for anyone wondering. It is totally separate from the KFI winch mount and bumper. 4x 17mm socket bolts that go into existing and empty threaded homes.

The plow mount takes a about a minute to install and remove.

Looks like a nice plow set up. I have been waiting on the Denali plow from MotoAlliance due out 1st of November but time is running out. I called KFI to see if members got a discount but they directed me to there dealers.

I ordered from same place but paid $685 now. Shipped same day. Now I just need to decide if I am going to mount it with the Trail Amor in place sandwiched between the mount and the plate or trim the Trail Armor skid. Thinking the sandwich should be sturdy enough.
