P1000 Interior Dome lights

Hey everyone,

curious if anyone has a good parts list for interior dome lights for a 2020 Honda pioneer 1000? I have the interior switch panel, dual battery and all that already and will be adding back up lights, but wanted to add this too.

I saw this video

and like the idea of strip led strip lights, but would like to use a standard rocker switch rather than the momentary push button this setup comes with. I suppose I could wire my own…

I just installed these on mine over the weekend. I have all my wires ran but switches not hooked up yet. I got rid of the switch it came with and plan to wire it to a rocker switch on my switch panel.
i cleaned the roof with some alcohol and used a heat gun to heat it up before installing. They stuck awesome and look great.
i bought the $20 kit on Amazon that includes 2 60” strips.

This one was about $13 on Amazon. Now shows "not available" . . . probably in a cargo container anchored off shore. I wanted an always-on power install with a rocker switch on the light, as I figured there was not much of a reason to take up valuable panel space. I also planned to run power up there for cell phone holder, tablet and InReach (all since done after this photo) .

I thought about just sticking some of that LED tape across the underside of the roof......could get the color mixer so I could run red/green at night to preserve night vision and/or set the mood.

I have these cheap ones that strap to the roll cage, they run on 3 triple AAA batteries and the batteries last forever. I put two of them in mine, one up front and one in the back. cheap and simple. I also keep a pack of triple AAA batteries in the glove box just in case

I have a cheap one that straps to the roll cage as well. Mine is a USB rechargeable Li battery (which helps in the cold) and it can be snapped out of the mount to be used as a flashlight.

I just did that this weekend on mine. Same way as Jamie did in the video. I LOVE IT. The light is incredible. Absolutely no dark spots. Left the switch as it was. It’s a great install. Your not gonna beat that for $25.
