Gonna have to put something to keep that pre-filter in place. Can use some panty hose or I just used screws.

Lol ..... I am the one that mentioned putting the screws in the tube. On this tube it has a big spring fitted inside of it.

Better protection from water intrusion, and opens up more space under hood where air box was.what is the real purpose of that hose
haha ..... dontcha know it!Annnnnd you get to tell the ladies you’ve got a big black hose under the hood!!
If you drive in water that is a waste of time. All you are doing is moving it back under the hood more. If you are going to snorkel it run it up along roll gageBetter protection from water intrusion, and opens up more space under hood where air box was.
NO, first it is raise slightly higher than original, so that is a benefit. Second, I have NO intention of playing submarine, I do not need it on the rollcage. If water is 'splashed up under the hood, it has less chance of getting into the hose in that location. By removing the old air box I have more room under hood.If you drive in water that is a waste of time. All you are doing is moving it back under the hood more. Thanks!Sorry. Just reread your post. I just worked it on there. Maybe letting it warm up in the sun first would make it more pliable.
