I did a search but could not find much. Have any of you made inner fender wells to keep water and crud out of all the electronic crap you/we/I added under the hood?

I am thinking about buying a office style black plastic trash can and cutting the corners out of it to try to make something. Any ideas or has anyone done anything that works better? Any ideas are welcome.

I saw a guy zip tie some rubber pieces to cover both sides. Looked like it worked good.

You could never keep all the water out from under the hood. IMO all connections should be soldered and sealed with heat shrink, fuse boxes should be marine (sea Ray or other) and zip tied split loam used on everything.

After having a different side x side that had that protection I must say I like having the openness so I can rinse it frequently...depending on how well protected the inner fenders would be I noticed on that other machine (lol) it actually trapped a lot of that mud and debris because I couldn't clean it out as well.
