P500 How to use straps to compress coil springs

I’ve read that you can use ratchet straps to compress coil springs on a P 500 by cutting off one of the hooks, how do you anchor that end with the hook cut off?

..... Back into the ratchet.

Try sticking it in the 2" hitch hole of your truck and ratching it down on 2 sides.
If you web it correctly there is no need to cut the hook off.

Can someone provide more info? Like where to place hooks and how to wrap? Pictures? I don’t understand “2” hitch hole on truck”
