No just have battery under hood for ease of getting to and away from area of dirt

i am new to the sxs game, but some things just seem to make good sense. And, moving the battery from in front of the right rear tire seems prudent. I plan to use my 500 to hunt ducks and I will be in flooded timber and flooded rice/crawfish fields. I stick to hard bottomed areas and the water...

I added a second battery under the seat 6yrs ago and have only opened the stock battery compartment once since then and that was just to replace the stock battery. Didn't die or anything, just figured it was due. You can add a power block under the hood if need the ease of wiring in accessories.
