We just took the machines out on a logging road on Monday and drove 133kn on 17 litres. (21MPG)

Was it in 4 wheel drive? That would be good mileage, much better than my 4 x 4 ram hemi, 11 miles per gallon on trails.

i have checked this every time i ride and have an average of 23 mpg. all desert riding and some sand and heavy rocks, i will have to upgrade to 8ply tires soon since i noticed some cuts in my tires already

It was in fwd for most of the time

Just did a little over 70 miles today and got about 26 mpg. Mostly jeep roads and some highways.

I think i've been getting around 10 mpg haha I like that throttle pedal a little too much

I would guess you could get about 160 miles on a tank. Of course you heavy footed guys might wind up walking.

Our average has been as bad as 18 as good as almost 21 which is actually better then the 700 we had and is lots better then out Polaris x2 (don't make fun of me the wife won't let me get rid of it because it can ride 4 people and friends use it) Not to bad but my 98 Cummins towing it and the quad camping gets 21 on the nose so I'm not totally understanding why utvs don't do a little better.

I get between 14 to 17 MPG I do a lot off road riding pioneer 1000-5.

I'd bet it's gearing mainly. That Cummins is barely idling to push your rig along where the P1K has to rev a bit to get moving and stay at speed.

I suppose you're right. I'm not complaining 20 seems to be better then a most machines we've had and the power is good.
