How many have needed a spare?

So how many of you have legitimately needed a spare wheel and tire while out on the trail.. Something catostrophic that a patch kit and air pump wouldn't fix? I've been riding for 20+ years and haven't had the need for one yet.. But as I'm rigging out the pioneer to be.. I keep thinking I should have one.

I carry one tire, plugs, CO2 canister, and a compressor. I hope that covers it.

With the Pioneer so far I have not...

On my Rincon I NEVER carried a spare.
I have needed one 6 times
It was a PITA trying to limp the Rincon back to the camp. Most were at small parks but one was in WV and it took 4 hours to limp back.
No way I could get the Pioneer back.

Guess it depends on where I am at. If I am at a small park and with friends I may leave the spare at the truck. 30+ min ride and they can fetch a spare for you.
But if I am in WV, Royal Blue, Windrock, or other large park then it's going with me. It could take a rider 4+ hours to fetch a spare there.

Some examples.

WOW! Hondasxs cannot borrow my rig.
I cut a sidewall at home. Other than that I've never seen a tire that couldn't be aired up and plugged.

We got our first flat on our Pioneer Sunday with my daughter driving. It was nothing a couple sticks and air wouldn't fix. Out of all the flats we've ever had with tubeless we were able to get back home or even continue riding even with side wall cut with a repair kit (hopefully luck continues) was really happy for the work on the tailgate storage!
