How HD winch to buy??

Not much experience with winching side x sides. How HD of a winch do you think is right for this machine?? Is 3000 lb enough?? 3500? 4000? What does experienced users say? (those that have been burried a few times )

4500 is the least I'd get

my opinion is the bigger the better you cant have to much winch you can use a smaller winch like a 3k if you use a snatch block that is what i am currently using and it works fine for me

The factory accessory winch is 4000Lbs. That's probably the minimum.

I would agree that 4000 is the minimum one should install... Look up the PULL BY LAYER info. you will be superseded to learn that your 3k will only pull at 1700 lbs for most uses. Unless you unwind it every time to get to layer 1.
I chose a 5k winch.
