P700 Honda (warn) Winch...do I need Winch Mount kit?

I'm buying the Honda OEM winch. Do I need to buy the winch mount kit? Or can I use a much cheaper plate from Superatv.com or similar?

The kit comes with wiring etc. Just making sure I do not need something specific in the kit. Has anyone ordered this in the past?

I have not but the winch itself should come with all the necessary wiring etc. any mount kit ought to work most have the same bolt patterns

I know this is an old thread, but just to clarify, the Honda accessory winch does not include the wiring, or switch. It is the winch with contactor fairlead, and hook only. You will need the accessory mounting kit to make it complete.
