P1000 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 SE

My first post of the new Honda Pioneer 1000-5 SE which just arrived. Included are few photos of the machine clean as well as a list of accessories from the factory and additional mods recommended from all the great forum posts.

Factory:
• Honda Roof
• Honda Windshield
• Warn Winch
• Honda Front light

Add-On's Recommended:
• Curved Light Bar
• SXS Seat Belt Override
• Rear Backup lights
• Fire Extinguisher
• Ricochet Rock Sliders (Great fit and quality / Terrible instructions which I ignored and installed the sliders in under 30 min).
• Door Bushings
• Stainless Exhaust Tip from Whiskey bent metal
• Honda seat cover
• Cup Holders

To be installed:
• Side mirrors
• TurnProOn signals w/horn
• SXS Dual Battery

How long did you wait? And how many date changes? Nice ride my ship date is 8/30/21 on a talon 1000r SE time will tell.

Funny you ask. I had put money on an LE but wanted black and the sales manager called me and had a cancellation hours before on the SE which is mostly black. I switched and from that point on it was two months with two ship date changes of roughly a week each time. So I was pretty lucky. I am also in California and the port was not far either.

You could always do one of these versus the bent tip

P1000 - New exhaust tip option!!!!!

So I wanted to take the stock exhaust tip off my 1000-5 but need to have a spark arrestor for when I'm on forest service land. This fits the need and fits likes it's supposed to be there. Perfect match in all aspects including being the same size as the muffler outlet. No more flow restrictions...
