Was going to buy a swing out gate I saw on here but fox shocks a lift kit and spare rim and tire put my wallet on empty and my marriage at risk of bottoming out.Just something simple and easy and some spray bombing. only weighs35lbs.All you guys and your posts lately got me in the mood.....:rolleyes:

That's awesome! Now you got me tninking... did you use conduit for the bed extender? Also, could you post a pic of where/how you connected to the bed..?

I used used one inch tube steel off the protective cages that Honda water pumps have around them."1x1x3/32thick.They already had the bends in them.The two bolts that hold the tailgate cable at top I replaced with longer ones and it just rests on bed with pads I removed from the pump bottoms.I will take better pics when I get go inthe toy box tonight.
