P500 HMF exhaust and fuel controller

Who’s running a combo like this? What model pipe and controller? Was it worth it? Will the ones for the 14-22 Foreman work?

I am. There's no muffler out there that's a slip on so it's a little involved. Then I'm running the Dobeck AFR+. Also added a K&N air filter and ran dual pipes for the snorkel to open it up. It definitely runs cooler. As for power gain, I notice a difference in mid range but that also depends on how you tune the Dobeck.

I'm sure it could. How much you'd have to go through to do it is the question. Keep in mind if you go with a tuner you'll have to drill and weld in a bung.

I wonder if an exhaust off of 15 to 22 foreman would be a better fit

There's an 02 sensor already on the machine but there's one supplied with the tuner. I believe I added it downstream from the factory one.

That sounds fantastic…did you cut off the cat and then welded on the slip on?

No slip on available. Cut the exhaust including the cat off and weld in some pipe. Also had to drill in a bung for a second 02 that came with the Dobeck AFR. Dobeck will run plug and play but can also be adjusted. Messed around with it when I first got it and dialed it in for what I think is optimal midrange power. No sense messing with top end, your speed is limited anyway. And with the granny gear in the P5, it didn't make any sense to mess with the low end.

Chooglin is the one that actually found those. Don't know if you remember him or not? Way better than the cheesy pipe clamps that come with them. Bolted through factory holes. Much cleaner look.
