I think there’s two or three. They’re pricyIs there any other manufacturers, other then Super ATV, making 1.5” forward offset high clearance a-arms?
Hey buddy. Its $323.95 for all 4 HD 4340 Chromoly ball joints and $385.95 for all 4 300M ball joints. The A-arm kit with the HD ball joints already pressed in is $789.95. Not sure if you checked a different website for that price, but wanted to clarify for you just in case. Thanks guys, but I'm looking for the 1.5" forward offset to help with the ride and stability of the Honda Talon X. I agree that Super ATV makes a good product but they want $340.00 for 2 heavy duty ball joints, seems crazy. Has anyone had issues with the Honda standard ball joints? I just wanted to see if there are any other options out there so I can compare and choose.
Thanks
No, the SuperATV arms are not stretched, they are swept forward 1.5". They extend the wheelbase to accommodate larger tires but do not widen the width.Aren't the X stretch arms just R length stuff?
Talon ball joints are not your typical SXS parts. There are many machines out there with over 10,000 miles and HondaBob has 20,000 (not gentle) miles and he is still on original joints. Thanks guys, but I'm looking for the 1.5" forward offset to help with the ride and stability of the Honda Talon X. I absolutely agree, the stock ball joints are fine for 99.999% of the Talon owners. The exception would be the portal guys with big ass tractor tires........ They are a special bunch. 😁Talon ball joints are not your typical SXS parts. I've only seen reports of a couple broken ball joints due to accidents. I broke a knuckle when I flipped mine and the ball joints were fine. I would say the stock ball joints are not the weak link in the front end.
