Headlight retrofit

I need more light but do not want to put a lightbar on my roof, I have a flip up windshield and cannot stand the glare across the windshield when it is up. I've been looking at the Baja headlight kit but $600 is so steep for what it is. Has anyone started making the little bracket that is in their kit so I can just buy LED cubes and do everything for half the price?

PBR products makes brackets. I have a 52" light bar that works great.
