P1000 Hand Brake

Does it seem stange to anyone else the 1000 doesn’t have a hand or emergency brake like the 700?
My 2 year old is able to put the 1000 in gear or neutral with the help of his sisters 4 and 6 giving him access of course, any kind on incline and the pair are gone, I just find it odd these don’t have one.
With the 700 only an adult would be releasing the hand brake.

PS: he’s had the keys taken away as well haha.

Yeah it’s dumb... do a search parking brakes and you’ll find some of us have added lever locks to the peddles. @ToddACimer

I need to do that, steep hills worry me.

It's crazy it's not called out for safety. Common sense only goes so far..

and these are pretty cheap machines, why expect all the frills haha
