P700 GPS tracker location, power etc

I recently purchased a GPS Tracker unit, it's about the size of a pack of smokes.
It is rechargeable, or can be hard wired.
The battery lasts about a month so I plan to just recharge it periodically.

Any thoughts on a good spot to place it?
I plan to move it between the UTV and the trailer when I leave it at the trail head, so being removeable is needed.
