Better watch it... might be stealing the “original”Anyone here though about making these soft shakles?

How long does the loop need to be? Not sure what lengths are really needed to make them useful.Let me know if you need tips on how to make them, in your business you may be able to find dyneeema at a good price

Also what diameter rope?
Thanks I'll be watching for your input. I know you can buy cheaper, but I would like to learn how to make them. I think it would be cool to give a few away on the trail. And be able to say I made them.My other hobby is pretending to be an arborist. When we bought our house, i had a bunch of trees to remove and delimb.
Cost was huge so i bought all the equipment and did it myself.
Part of that was splicing my own ropes, making my own prussiks and rope lanyards and rigging.
When i get time ,hopefully this weekend i will post up a tutorial on making your own soft slings. Going to make a tree saver length soft shackle.
Honestly though, unless you just enjoy making your own stuff, it is cheaper to buy the Amazon stuff when you consider your time.
