P500 Glovebox installed!

Today I installed a glove box behind the warning plate .Used 3/8 plastic ,made the box 5 1/2" square ,cut 1 the shape of the indentation, and 1 bigger for the front of box, took the warning plate off, screwed the box on thru the rivet holes ,drilled 4 holes and cut it out with jigsaw ,leaving enough across the bottom to screw a hinge on.Used hatch hold down off a boat to hold the door shut .Can't even tell the glove box is there, Will work good for phones ,sunglasses' and billfold.

Kool. Sweet idea. And fairly smart too.
There is lots of un-used space behind there.
Someone could make a drop in box for cheap if they had the connections.

I just installed a winch, Honda\Warn, while cutting holes for the rocker switch I noticed that there is room back there for some storage.

FYI: the under hood storage bin is a must for this machines storage. I also found a decent Rubbermade to go in the space under the seat.

Thanks,also look at Choogin's Homemade glovebox,he did a great job on his .If I was doing it again it would have been wider inside,there is plenty of room behind the dash.

Yes, OEM under hood storage from honda for the P500. Ordered it through my local dealer.
