Have not tried heat gun yet but have used Maguire's nd other plastic polishes with good results.

I haven't tried the heat gun either. I have tried turtle wax in a small area. Helps to a point. Might have to see about using heat gun. Not wanted to spend alot on different ones and them not work. Thanks for you in put.

Novus plastic polish, I have used it on motorcycle and wheeler windshields for over 20 years, it works great, #3 is a little to strong, just use #2, and apply by hand, a little elbow grease and great results. Last time I bought it on e-bay.
