My shop was spray foamed, now I need to insulated garage doors. Most kits are 22" wide but the spaces between my channels is 24" wide. I am likely going to get foam board and cut it. My question is: I know EPS can take on a little water but it is flexible for insulation. Would you put in the EPS or the good one pink stuff? My openers are oversized so slightly concerned about adding more weight but not overly concerned.

I used "EnerFoil" which is a closed cell foam with foil on both sides it reflects the heat and works very well

It's the springs that handle the weight, not the power of the openers. Unhook the door from the opener - 1. You should be able to lift it manually. 2. If the springs are tensioned correctly, the door will stay at about 4' above the floor without being held.
