I apologize if there is already a thread that answers these questions - if so please send me there otherwise I greatly appreciate any help you all might have. I have a 2016 Pioneer 1000 that has broken its front propeller shaft joint and I cannot seem to remove the front joint - the drive shaft is separate and out but I cant seem to remove the front section that is broken. Also do I have to remove more than just the floor board to access the front piece? Seems like there is only a small access panel that gives little to no access ... is there a secret? Also any recommendations on a complete assembled propeller shaft? I greatly appreciate the info I have already found on this forum! Thanks

You need to unbolt the front diff and slide it forward. Take the wheels off. Loosen front diff , slide forward and then the prop shaft should slide off. From what I've been told. Not what I've done yet. Yet being the key word. I still need to.

Seriously though, what @Gabbas said is how you'll need to get it out.

Well, that sucks.
To install, you have to pull the front diff forward a few inches.
I don't think it has to be removed completely and seems like the axles and arms could stay as well.
Just leaving them in makes it a little more difficult but it's doable.

FYI, The joint can be replaced but last I heard they are on BO.

Check this out, I just added this to the store last week. I recommend this over OEM.
