P1000 Front grill replacement

Had a mishap over the weekend and needing to replace the front grill on my 17 1000-5 D. Anyone have first hand experience? Stuff that needs to come off or don't etc.?

Had a mishap over the weekend and needing to replace the front grill on my 17 1000-5 D. Anyone have first hand experience? Stuff that needs to come off or don't etc.?

There are a couple screws above the headlight housing that are a pain in the ass. A lot of people just leave them off after replacing.
