P700 Front End Hose?

I notice a small hose has broken off in the front end. Can someone tell me what this does? In the parts blow out it says it's a vacuum bulk hose? WTH is that? Here's a few pics.

If I'm seeing the picture right that looks like the diff vent hose.

Bulk hose is just that.
Standard hose they sell by the foot (ok, so honda will have no idea what a foot is but you get the idea) .
Its nothing special, but it keeps water out and allows the diff to breath as it heats up and cools down.

Make sure it is not plugged up when you reattach it.
Also you might change the diff oil to make sure no water got in.
