Some on here have put a subwoofer box there with cupholders on top.

I bought a plastic console with cup holders and storage area at the local auto parts store. Perfect fit on the floor between driver and passenger

Looks good i like that idea i up sized my cup holders to hold a yeti cup but that would work much better
