No. What ever tire your going to run leave them on or your old tires. Jack up your buggy until the shock is at maximum travel with the tires still on the ground, measure ground clearance, load buggy with simulated weight that you ride with, set it back down, roll back and forth a few feet, then measure ground clearance again. You will be close to optimum by setting spring preload at 1.5 inches spring sag. It's not perfect but it beats a shot in the dark.I installed them today and to get the correct ride height measurements I guess the best way is to install the original 25” tires back on the machine which I have and then take the 27”blackwater off until ride height measurements are set correctly.

Need to be clear, when I said measure that was from the ground up to the center of the back and then the front. Sorry about that.Thank you very much for the info. your way will be a lot easier on a old man.
Set your compression to the softest setting.I checked the measurements this evening and I have 2”spring sag on the front and rear with 26” tires. I did not adjust the shocks and I will test drive next week then I will have a better feel of the direction of the shock adjustment. I’m looking for a smoother ride because of back issues and all my riding is hunting stuff in Alabama. Thanks for your help.
