P1000 foggy conditions

i have a 2016 pioneer 1000-5 deluxe and the windshield that came with it, in my opinion is inadequate. It only opens up about 8" and if you night ride it fogs up pretty fast this time of year.. does anybody know if i can use the same windshield and add the newer struts/shocks and assembly to make it open all the way up or do i basically have to get a whole new windshield??

Someone did make some arms so it would open all the way but I believe they quit making them. I would just buy a new superatv windshield and sell the Honda 1 for $100-200.

yeah, that might be the route I go with,, just wanted to see if there was an adapter or just the struts i could modify. $500.00 could go along way on another toy.. lol

stock windshield.. it is actually plexiglass i believe and it says scratch proof.. but that isn't correct either..

Your talkin the Honda aftermarket tilt windshield that your calling stock right? If so, u have those brackets someone sells to tip it out just a touch further or if u want it all the way out the SATV flip is the way to go!

The original complaint was for fogging.
Yes, riding in places down south I have seen this, the freaking humidity is the issue.
But, @JACKAL keeps a squeegee hanging on his shift lever to be able to see.

Need to order me one before the Takeover.
Cheap fix, may not be the best fix.

i actually found those arm and it will open the windshield from about 4 1/2 inches to about 9 inches. that will be a lot of help.. thanks for putting me in the right direction,, if that doesn't work then maybe the new windshield
