Floppy Universal Joint Fix

On a Talon, one of the oil drain plugs is waaaaaay under there (the horizontal one pointing at the LR tire). To complicate matters is the narrow drain opening in a Trail Armor skid (maybe an inch wide), so putting the bolt back in with your fingers is difficult at best. The easiest way to get the bolt back in is with 12" of extension plus a universal but the bolt will fall out of the universal long before it's anywhere near the drain hole. This is how to fixit. 😎

#metoo I just replaced the inner LR CV joint, not all that much fun.

Maybe my fingers are just magic, but I've never had a problem.

Or it could be because we use a lift while servicing units.

That does complicate things.

I hate aftermarket skid plates with a passion. I'll knock an hour labor off a sub trans rebuild if the customer removes the skid plates and winch.
