We ended up at Brown Mountain OHV for the day on Saturday and had a blast for our first time out with the P5. I think I'm going to keep the rims and tires the way they are. The width seemed to keep me really stable (ish) up what I thought were some gnarly little climbs. A guy in the parking lot said his buddy has a P5 and tipped it over a few times there a while ago on stock wheels/tires. Anyway, we had a great time and my wife loved the mud hole on trail 1.

Here's a little video of some fun:

Been there twice...about 19 years agoo_O. Once with a Samurai, once with a 400 Kodiak. Saw my 1st Honda Rubicon there.
Certainly seems like a place where the 500 would shine, from what I remember.

Yeah, it was nice. We stayed on the "easy" trail 1 and even that got a little squirelly near the end and we had to turn back. It was a VERY bumpy ride, but still fun.

HMmmm.... my bet Buddy was slurpin, toooo many trail pops and discombobulated his equilibrium resulting in misadventure.

Hopefully soon you can get down here to ride OutBack. My wife enjoys toolin' around in the woods over there with me.It would make a good day trip for yall.Lots of good P-5 trails there, meaning larger sxs machines have a hard time getting through.Nothing very difficult, but nice laid-back riding.I slipped over there after work Sunday with the chainsaw on board and did some trail clean-up.There was a fair amount of people there, but i never saw a single person on the good trails.Lots of folks miss the good stuff, not knowing it's there.I'll let you give my ride a spin with the PS,locker, and Walker Evans shocks. It will give you a good idea of what those mods are all about.
