I have had the Pioneer for a couple of months and my impression so far has been very good. After reading many threads on this forum, I agree with the rattles, dust and heat. I have done the first 100 mile oil change myself and sent a oil sample to Blackstone labs for an analysis. Overall I am happy with the machine with no regrets.

I was curious what was in the oil as I saw a lot of metal flakes. Turns out it was nothing to be concerned about as per oil report. I may do another one when I have more miles on the engine.

That's normal for the first oil change, maybe even the first couple oil changes. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Save the $$ on the report and spend it on accessories 😉 👍 😂
