First run in the bush, first 50 km on machine. Wow, totally impressed, really impressed with Maxxis Bighorns originals (26x9 & 26x12). Climbs out of ruts, doesn't slip and slide, chews nicely without kicking up chunks of sod. 5.5 lbs in rear, 6 lbs in front gave a really smooth ride, unbelievable. Gearing ratios are awesome for idling along in the cut lines offering great torque when you ask for it. As you can see northern Alberta has showered on us immensely... so much water laying around. Let my dad enjoy the machine yesterday as shown in the pics. The cargo box length at 40" was no issue weaving in and out the trees detouring fallen trees are deep mud holes. What a great day on a great machine.

Nice. You probably could go right through the centre as long as it’s not over the intake. They are amazing in mud.
Now start saving for everything else.
Haha
My daughter lives in Cold Lake.
Have fun

...difference between the Canadian and American P500's ...
Canadians have a choice of only 2 colours, Patriot Red (the USA red is not patriotic) and Moose Brown, and they go faster; 64 in Canada, and only 40 in the USA.
The MSRP in Canada is $11,999.00 but today that converts to $9,182.85 USD.

That's 40 MPH and 65 KPH, same speed...

... but it just feels faster. If the USA ever decided to use the Metric system we would have to travel to Liberia, or Myanmar to see the Imperial system in use.
Wouldn't that be nice, back to 1 set of sockets and wrenches! But I'd still be losing my 10 mm socket...

Haha, there are a lot of red ones, but I’ve seen camo, blue, yellow and green. But I bought mine in ‘14. And mine was the second one in NS.
I thought on camo but wanted Honda Red.
@70Bones , are you going anywhere this summer. I’m trying to get @PBishop and @ToolmanJohn to come to Cape Breton for a few days. And the wives. Should be good if they can make it. I think PB is good, waiting to see if John has to work.
And are you coming to Stanfest at that same time Tom.
@HaggyGP , are you close to Cold Lake.

How do you like that windshield with the roof and soft rear window back? Good airflow? eliminate the dust from the negative air pressure from the window?
Love it. And if you get the front you really need the back. The back opens too. Tighten the windshield easy clamps tight. It’s great in the heat. It will open up about 6” making good air and no bugs hitting you in the face. :) And you’re out of the sun. The warn winch hasn’t been used yet. Haha. Knock wood.
The back box I got at Princess Auto. Around $200.
My daughter sent me pictures of some of the trails around Cold Lake.
Lots of trails. She wishes she had the bike up there. Haha
Oh and I got the @Chooglin glove box. It should have come with the bike.
Anything else, just ask.
