P1000 Factory UTV skid plate any good?

Took mine back to make some trails in the woods. Came back with a big dent in my front factory metal skid plate. The factory UTV seems to offer the most front coverage but wanted to get some feedback on the fit and durability. Also is 3/8 good or should I go 1/2?

I have the 1/2" from Factory UTV and so far so good. I have some gouges from sharp rocks but its holding up well.
I widened the oil drain hole out some because it was pretty small. Not hard to do though.
For now the self tapping screws are working. I sure i will have to rivet nut them after i take it of once or twice. So far i havent removed it.

Only way to go and 1/2"

I’ve only had TrailArmor but the FactoryUtv is a good skid as well. Get 1/2” when you do.
