Just received a letter from Honda Canada.
Due to all the recalls Honda is giving us one extra year warranty.

Was the letter specific to your machine, or did it give dates of when the applicable pioneers were bought?

Good grief, the sixth trip to the Honda dealership for a recall? I guess it's a relief, Honda cares for my welfare or there butt, HA!

If your warranty has already expired on January !st you get 12 months Honda Plus warrantee, if your machine is still under warrantee you get an aditional 12 months.

I am not sure what that mean. I bought mine 18 model in 10/17, so it expired in 10/18, which means in 1/19 it will be already expired. Does that mean I have until 10/19?

On January 1st you get one year extended warranty from Honda.
It do-sent mater when yours expired.

Letter arived today from Honda Canada.
Honda is providing a 12 Month extended warranty due to inconvenience to some costumers re taking the machine in for recall service work.
So on January 1st this no charge extended warranty will cover your SXS.
It dosent matter if your SXS warranty has expired or not.
Mine expired 6 months ego so starting January 1st i get 12 months warranty coverage.
I say that's pretty good from them.

And yes it’s Honda Canada.

12 months extra warranty starting today for my 2016 1000-5.
