P1000 Engine pops

Has anyone had hard hits on engine sound when reving between 3-4K ?
Wasn’t sure if there is some piston hitting or water in fuel , etc.
Any suggestions of what could be issue?
Didn’t know if it was just a common sound in this engine.

Sounds are funny and hard to describe without hearing them.
We can only throw u wild guesses from a violent fart to a cat being run over by a truck

this thing could be beat to death

year, mileage, modifications, ever swamped, rolled, garage queen, pops in neutral, all gears, etc.....
