P500 Engine light please help... Code 1-1 MAP Sensor!

2017 P500 engine light blinking one short blink every 3 or 4 seconds. I assume this means 1 is the code number but I haven’t been able to find a list of codes online and I don’t have a service manual. Thanks in advance for any help getting this resolved.

Where are the code 1 sensors located?

Yes to both.
It will go away and there is a reset procedure. Disconnecting the battery for a bit works too. Thats the simplest.
The other is shorting some wires. I'll have to hunt it up because like you said. its late.

Was indeed a code for for the MAP/TPS. Apparently Honda insulates their wire with peanut butter.

Don’t know how well it will show up on the pic but an inch and a half section of the mint green wire is gone from the plug to where it is taped like it was just cut off with side cutters. The way the plug goes in from the bottom I could not see any sign until I pulled the air box and removed the plug again. Once the plug was turned over I still had to look close to see it between the heat shield for the cat and carb.

That looks like you had a hungry visitor. Especially since your missing a section.

Is there enough left at the plug to solder on a lead?

Snap a pic of the connector end. You should be able to repin it wih a short pigtail and crimp. Waiting on parts will be a few days though.
