Ecu relocation on talon 1000r

Has anyone move their ecu from under the seat to a higher position?

Don't think so. Lot of wires....
Did see one guy on FB wrap it in saranwrap claiming he was "protecting it from the elements".
Wished I could find it again for our Seen on FB thread.

I'm in florida we go thru quite a bit of water usually not past the shifter but ecu is under the seat it gets submerged often is it completely waterproof and does it need some kind of cool air going to it

It is completely waterproof and there is no heat or cooling concerns with it.

Ya like Hondasxs said there is no worries. People have been submerging Talons since day 1 and Pioneer long before that. Don’t think I’ve heard of an issue. With grounds relays and instrument clusters yes but not computer.
