P500 Easy way to mount winch to Strongmade Bumper?

The Superwinch came yesterday, and started looking at mounting it to my Strongmade bumper. I thought this part of the install would be the easiest. The front two bolts look like they may be a b**** to access to get started and tighten. Also, bolts seem slightly short. Anyone figure out the "easy" way?

It was a PITA but lumber through and you'll get it. I had to buy 1-1/2" hardened stainless bolts. I found the 1-1/4's supplied a tad short.

Longer bolts makes all the difference in the world. Covered this in my P500 build thread. Good luck if you have big hands.

I looked at removing bumper, but that won't help. This is basically a winch mount with a slide over bumper. Was also considering a stud in the fronts, loctited in, but finding a hardened one locally would probably be an issue. Looks like it is longer bolts and some frustration.

It was a pain.. but like they said little longer bolts and I used a ratchet wrench.

That's why it's best to go with the Terra series..

The next size longer bolts was the trick. The fronts were not that hard. Started them with a deep wheel, and then tightened with ratchet.
